Jacques Plante used this stick during the 1957-58 season with the Montreal Canadiens.  Plante went 34-14-8 in 57 games during the regular season, finishing with a 2.11 GAA and 9 shutouts.  During the playoffs, Plante finished with an 8-2 record and a 1.94 GAA, leading the Canadiens to their third of five straight Stanley Cups.  Plante collected his third of five straight Vezina Awards as the Canadiens surrendered the fewest goals during the regular season.  Jacques Plante was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1978.
