Tim Thomas wore this jersey during the 2008-09 campaign while manning the nets for the Boston Bruins.  Thomas played in 54 games during the regular season, going 36-11-7 while leading the league in both GAA and save percentage, posting a 2.10 GAA and .933 save percentage. He also had 5 shutouts.  Thomas led the Bruins into the playoffs, playing 11 games and going 7-4, with a 1.85 GAA, a .935 save percentage, and 1 shutout.  Due to his outstanding play, Thomas was awarded the first of two Vezina Trophies of his career at the age of 35.  He also took home the only William Jennings Trophy of his career.
