1975-77 Bunny Larocque

Michel “Bunny” Larocque wore this jersey during the 1975-76 and 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens campaigns, splitting time with Hall-of-Famer Ken Dryden.  During the 1975-76 season, Larocque played in 22 games, finishing with an outstanding 16-1-3 record, a 2.46 GAA, and 2 shutouts, helping the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup.  Dryden was awarded the Vezina Trophy that year, with Larocque coming 3 games shy of the 25-game requirement for recognition of the award.  During the 1976-77 season, Bunny played in 26 games, going 19-2-4, with a league-leading 2.09 GAA, and 4 shutouts, again helping the Habs to the second of 4 straight Cups.  This time, Larocque was able to share the Vezina Trophy with Dryden, taking home the first of 4 Vezinas in his career.  Sadly, Bunny Larocque would pass away at the age of 40 in 1992.
